Andi Davis was on considered one of her treks via Phoenix, Arizona’s remoted rocky hills, when she stumbled on a 2-year-old Pit Bull that had been shot a number of instances and was bleeding profusely. She was shocked to search out he had many gunshot wounds and was hemorrhaging badly.

The Pit Bull was taken to Arizona Humane Society for emergency care. The docs handled an opened wound within the canine’s abdomen and extracted bullet fragments from his neck and spinal wire. Andi stayed by his aspect, encouraging him to battle again and survive.

The Pit Bull was given a second likelihood when Andi sacrificed herself to avoid wasting him. Elijah, in keeping with Andi, was named after the prophet Elijah. She determined to deliver him residence along with her as a result of he grew to become rapidly wholesome as he was bathed in love and a spotlight in his new home.
