An enormous ball of fur was dropped off on the Central Missouri Humane Society by somebody. On first sight, it was troublesome to determine what was beneath the tangle of hair. The particular person who deserted the pet stated it had been found in a small canine mattress at an area grocery store. Workers on the shelter started working straight away to help this baby and work out who was hiding underneath all that matted hair.

“It turns out that this ball of fluff was a dog in dire straits,” the Central Missouri Humane Society introduced on Facebook. “She couldn’t stroll, had a variety of fleas, and her severely matted fur advised she was in ache. “Thanks to the folks at Pawsitively Precious, she was anesthetized and two employees spent three hours eradicating matted hair from her physique. Despite the grooming and bathtub, the tiny canine was unable to stroll away.

“Upon getting x-rays done, it was discovered that she had been in this condition for so long that her paws had deformed and she had several broken bones,” Pawsitively Precious posted on Facebook.

They by no means gave up on the little pup, who they determined to call, Precious.

Though she will be able to’t stroll or run as a traditional canine would, Pawsitively Precious says she “has a lot of love to give and will make an excellent pet for a very special home someday!”
