Donors and those who love the horse have made this possible. Equine veterinarians have been making this possible through the foundation for going on 29 years.”

Foundation Chair Rick Mitchell, DVM, MRCVS, Dipl. ACVSMR, Certified ISELP, co-founder and partner-owner of Fairfield Equine Associates, in Newtown, Conn., mentioned, “This is what we’re all about—providing resources so that students become first-rate equine veterinarians, researchers improve the practice of equine medicine, and programs help horses in times of urgent need. It is our duty to serve the medical needs of the horse, and no other organization does what we do.”
