In a few of my earlier posts, I’ve touched on the truth that Ivy, like many different cats, LOVES sleeping. Especially sleeping in!
She sleeps in our mattress each night time and infrequently selects the mattress as a snoozing spot through the day. We have a complete nightly ritual that goes as follows:

Raphael is generally a really succesful sleeper. Very. He’ll sleep in automobiles, on trains, within the bed room, on the ground, when it’s heat, and when it’s chilly.

The worry rose in me. “What evil is he getting up to? What dangers await us elsewhere in the flat?”
Then I rounded the door to the lavatory, and simply earlier than I turned the sunshine on, there he was, on the ground. In the darkness.
He was mendacity on the ground, his eyes half open, clearly perturbed by the disturbance of his slumber.
Of course, there was just one factor to do. I stored the sunshine off and left him to sleep peacefully.
