As Karma the Pit Bull writhed in agony from her damaged leg, she lay deserted on the facet of a busy street. Too pained to maneuver, motorists averted her out of concern of the “scary” breed. Starvation quickly claimed the animal’s weakened physique, and he or she resigned herself to loss of life.
